A razor blade begins its journey as ore, undergoing smelting, continuous casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, and annealing before finally becoming a coil of precision steel strip.
But the steel strip is not yet a blade. It only possesses the “genes” to become one. The manufacturing process that truly determines a blade’s sharpness, smoothness, durability, and user experience officially begins only after the steel strip enters the blade workshop.
From steel strip to finished product, the blade must undergo a series of processes: stamping, heat treatment, grinding, cleaning, inspection, and packaging. Each of these seemingly minor steps influences the final result—whether the blade is sharp enough, whether the cutting edge is stable, whether it glides smoothly across the skin, and whether consistency can be maintained in mass production.
